Had a friend visiting from South Africa over the Xmas, thought our ads were great, can't imagine how horrid there's must be.

You wanna try the adverts on Nigerian or Ghanaian TV - holy smoke, two minutes of them and you really do lose the will to live.

The influx of companies using a name which is a slight variant of a word related to what they're selling and using really basic logos in an attempt to get you to remember them more easily. I've had to use the tube for work this week and I've seen a lot of adverts.

For example, 'Qured' is a service for rich people that ships doctors to your door. 'Kukd' is a takeaway delivery service like Just Eat. 'Hiya' is a company that lets you hire other people's cars (no idea why you'd ever let a total stranger drive your car, mind).

Should set up a protest group - ‘Arsd’.

In my world the need to advertise your wares would be satisfied in a directory that people pick up if they want to find a FRICKING PPI firm, or accident claim firm.

There's a couple of adverts for different cars. One of them has the car facing down a ram (male sheep type of ram) and the other has the car facing down a couple of guard dogs. Surprise surprise the cars win the showdowns!! Who would have thunk it? Seems to me advertisers are running out of ideas.
