He's been a sub at Leipzig hasn't he? Getting just as much playing time there as he would at Everton, and much less game time than if he had gone to Derby County.

Leipzig can't afford him, so I wouldn't worry about him going there.

Leipzig aren't stupid. They know the massive profit they'll make on him in a year or two's time when the RS or United come calling. If we sell him he'll be back in the premierleague within two seasons and playing championsleague football

Should get good money for him cos we paid good money if the Gerrrmans are daft enough to pay our price. Then our new manager signs someone better. He got little support from the fans here anyway so no wonder he was glad to leave.

Whow what a prediction based on sweet sod all evidence. My crystal ball says he will fade away in 2 years so it depends on which crystal ball is the less cloud,y yours or mine. I am keeping my money in my pocket. While you are at it, which team will Klassen be playing for in the Champions League in 2-3 years?

Leipzig have plenty of money, but I can't see them signing him either. Their record fee for a player is the 21 mill they spent on Naby Keita. That's the only time so far they've gone over 20 mill for a player. So to get a young player from the prem, where the prices would likely be at a premium, can't see it. They'll do what they do so well, go for players from Austria, lower German leagues, France, Switzerland etc.

He played 152 mins in the league for Everton first half of the season, and 268 mins in the league so far for RB Leipzig. You think he'd have played as much for Everton if he'd stayed? I reckon the loan will have done him the world of good, regardless of minutes played, just to learn a different style, different training regimes, different culture etc. I was very impressed with him for having the guts to make the move.

He'll come back to Everton all the better for it.

He’s undoubtably not had much match exposure, but training and working hard at a club who are doing very well will have a great input on his development.

Imagine him being at Finch Farm working his socks off and making the bench, he as at least tasting rewards of his laboursome fruits at Leipzig.

Fully agree on him not moving there permanently. Think they moved too late for him unless we are soft enough to let him go on a low fee.

I agree that the loan move will do him good, but he's still playing the role of an impact sub over in Leipzig. I see that being his role at any top club for the next year or so. I don't think we should sell him though, he has a lot of potential.

Not starting games but he’s got 2 goals in 270 minutes of time and those goals have won his side 4 points. And we couldn’t find him minutes because...?

So somebody asks RB Leipzig if they would like to sign him, well they’re hardly likely to say “ No, he’s crap”. He’s a very talented ,exciting, natural player who is/was far away from being a regular starter this season at PL level , even in our set up. This loan has been great for him , he’s got first team minutes, scored goals, hopefully worked on and improved his weaknesses.
He’ll be back with us preseason , he may need another season of developing before becoming a regular at PL level, but in the right set up he’ll continue to progress, and if it’s not with us it will say more about the club than him.

Again I'll ask why he shouldn't have played for us when we're throwing Bolasie out there every week who's regularly put in 3/10 performances...He'd likely offer more threat than Rooney or Davies as an AM in certain games when we actually need someone to create on their own. I agree he SHOULDN'T be considered a PL starter, but for us, we've got enough dross that he at least should've been seeing regular minutes and growing here.
