Can see more potential in him already than what we've had from all our second forwards since Tim Cahill left. If Lukaku grooms him properly then who knows.

Well he showed enough today to mark him down as a game changing sub with the potential to challenge for a regular 1st team place sooner rather than later. I thought his movement on and off the ball was excellent . Often youngsters get lost initially when thrust into a PL game, running down blind alleys or into space where they haven't a chance of receiving the ball and the game just passes them by . He looked a natural in the short time he was on , and that for me is the exciting bit. He's got so much natural talent , we don't want to coach that out if him , but once we start to coach him on when to move, when to pass , when to shoot etc at PL level this guy will take off. I can see it happening this season.

Absolute baller. If that chance shortly after he came on was on his right foot, it would have gone in I reckon.

He and Rom could be utterly, utterly stellar at the top of that 3-5-2. I hope the little guy gets Lukaku to legally adopt him.

...as I said, sometimes these kids play better with better players. As others have touched on, he seems to be on the same wavelength and clearly has the confidence of his teammates. I was encouraged by him today, not carried away but encouraged.

One of the things that many Charlton fans said that any criticism of his performance was debatable because he is ahead of anything else on the pitch that it affects his decision making. At 18/19 that's ridiculous but clearly visible. One of the things I said when he first signed was that better players will bring out another level in this boy.

I'm going to be controversial here but except from the first 5 mins when he came on, the last 15 mins to me he was lost. He looked like he was just running round trying to find space before we scored and we he got the ball didn't do anything with it except pass it a few yards. Once we scored he just ran around closing people down, like any young kid would do.

The first 5 mins however looked very promising, but lets not go overboard about how good he is.

He looks sharp & eager (as expected).
When he gets the ball he tries to make something happen by looking to beat his man or playing the ball forwards.
He seems to be the fastest player on the field!
He's good. Great signing!!

Nothing wrong with giving your opinion, the highlights seem to back up your thoughts. However, it's always difficult coming into a game late on, especially a flair player. What I liked was the fact that he ran and closed down when he didn't have the ball. I think he looks like he's going to be top quality in the next couple of years. Let's keep behind him.
