Ademola Lookman

He's not worth £30m, but Richarlison isn't worth £50m, and Allison isnt worth £70m, but you have to pay over the odds to get your talent don't you.

The lad has a lot of raw potential, if he can get a run of games, i reckon he will flourish. Putting him in and out of the team every 5 seconds will never give anyone any confidence, see Klaasen, Sandro for example.

Give him a run, and if it's not working, then we know we'll have suitors.

What happens if he said he wants out though??

Bin him the second an appropriate bid comes in which recognises his value in the current market. 25-30m.

He's not done enough to be acting like a spoilt child and demanding to leave.

That said, I've no idea if he is pushing for a move. But if he is then sell for the right price on our terms.

Leipzig need to look at themselves here. If he was their player and an English club wanted to sign him they would be quoting £30+ million.

They want to sign him for £15mill and sell him for about £70mill in 2-3 years.
But it's Silva's fault. Selling lookman for 18m and buying richarlison for 50m is stupid business.

If the fee is too high then walk away. Lessons should have been learned from siggurdson.

I honestly don't think it will be anywhere near £50mill - more like £30mill + addons

Obvious, sell him! None of the big boys want him anyway so he can't be that good. If his heart is somewhere else, then take off and good luck. Only Leipzig seem to be after him so make them really pay through the nose or piiiss off. I don't care if he stays or goes. We can use £25 - 30m on someone better than him.

He’s not worth £25m though, he’s played a handful of games for us and showed nothing much apart from the odd moment being able to run fast. £18m plus additional sell on fees is more than fair

If James Madison is worth that then so is Lookman. In your opinion he's not worth it. In my opinion he's not either. But the market says he is. So demand that figure.

I don’t get it, why are we getting 13m bids for Lookman who is the same age as 50M Richarlison who done more in 11 games than Richarlison done in a full season.

If we sell for anything below 30 skulls need cracking.

Deffo off in the near future.

Don't think he'll go for less than £20m but it seems we're okay with selling on the cheap for whatever reason. He's going to be as good as Sterling in my book who I rate.

If we had any backbone though we'd tell Leipzig to do one after Ragnick's been tapping him up at every opportunity.

The market is determined by what two clubs agree as a price, we’re not selling products which have consumer demand and are driving the market in one direction.

Why not say he’s he’s worth £40m because Madrid just bought a young brazilian for that price

Who cares? Plenty of players have been refused a move. End of the day he's a kid who wants to play footy. Obviously I don't know the lad personally but I doubt he's gonna sulk for an entire season coz he doesn't get his move to Germany. He also doesn't seem like he'd cause a toxic atmosphere around the place. He wants to play and improve, so unless he absolutely despises the club and hates living in England then he'll soon get over it.

A player of lesser pedigree from a no mark club in a lesser league just sold a player for nigh on 25m. Why we would sell a player who is younger and has Premier league and Bundesliga experience for less?

We keep getting quoted extortionate fees by other clubs so why would we not quote similar fees when shoe is on the other foot?
