Maybe we should be asking WHY does Lookman want to leave us?

Would he want to leave any top end premier league side who were showing ambition?

Thats the problem when your better players start wanting to leave - Stones, Ross, Rom, Lookman - you begin to become a southampton where every top player at the club knows they are going nowhere and want to jump ship at the first opportunity. Lookman isnt even leaving for a CL club which is a concern.

Hopefully we keep him as he's going to develop into a very good player however I wont hold my breathe with the current clowns in the boardroom.

None of the story makes sense. It’s a friendly that won’t have sold out so they don’t even need to request one. And as has been said by others here, they had him on loan for half a season and Rangnick has been banging on about wanting him back. Why would they need to scout him against Burnley?
