Yes he has had 2 moments of class, TWO ??? Why the huge defence ? genuine question, for all you know could be the next Sterling,Great on his day but wants the earth and wants out ??
He clearly wants out or would at least look arsed if he didnt. He was going to come on last game but (apparently) didnt look arsed.

For me Lookman is a Right Winger, yes.

IMO Lookman would be back up for Walcott.

Our only other options there are Sandro, Rico or Bernard switching sides, Niasse, DCL, Dowell, basically none of them great options.

Then that makes sense for him to stay

Dowell has to be back up (I know I know - very inexperienced, raw back up) otherwise why keep him ahead of Klassen and not buy another 'playmaker back up'. If Sandro is leaving probably, Maybe NIasse too, then we are kind of light but at the 'right number' up front:
RW Walcott or Lookman
CF Tosun or DCL
LW Richarlison or Bernard
CM Gylfi or Bernard or Dowell

Sandro, Niasse = one of them could stay.

Yeah, but he's an upgrade on Bolasie and Mirallas, not Lookman. Vlasic was also played as a winger, and so Lookman has got a lot of opportunities this year.

Yes, its true that will leave us thinner at the position, although I think we plan on making Sandro the 4th option on the wing if we need a stopgap. I think they are looking towards next season though. I just dont think theres enough space on this team for both Lookman and Onyekuru, so next season 1 of them needs to go and Lookman is looking the likely target as Onyekuru continues to develop well and WANT to be here. If we consider that next season we likely buy a top striker, and a top CM and maybe a CB, that leaves us with wingers of Richy, Walcott, Bernard, Onyekuru, Lookman as the top 5.
