That's why I said I doubt he's obsessed with money at this time in his career to not care about losing them or maybe he is, But I feel if he really wanted out he would have handed one in.
His agent will be advising him not to, try to push the deal through without handing a request in.
Well considering we've only had one bid, continuously have said he's not for sale and this morning Silva has said this "saga" is not an issue, the agent will have an impossible job on.

It has been said before, he does not like press conferences. His English is limited and he repeats the few words he knows over and over, like "important". What gets me is some of the people who asked him questions made no allowance for his poor English. Because he can't freely chat in English the exchange is very stilted and awkward. Can't be helped.

Don’t think his grasp of English has anything to do with it. He’d outlined before he’s only concentrated on the coaching side of things, transfers etc. are left to Marcel and the board. He wants Lookman but the club might not feel the same way.

I think Silva was just saying that it's not really up to him which kind of toes the line that we have a price in mind and if met he'll be sold. Which is quite right really, every player in the world has a price.
He's made it clear he doesn't want him sold but at the end of the day it's not his decision hence he can't say 100% he's staying.
Just my take anyway as to me he didn't sound as confident as before, but maybe it was misinterpreted.
