Often said but not remotely true. Baines went straight into the team, got injured, came straight back into the team, got injured again, then couldn’t get back in again because lescott was on absolute fire.

He was playing 2 weeks into the season.

That was a different situation. Lescott was brilliant that season. Double figures with goals and really strong at the back.

I know it was only one game but Aznou looked really poor against Roma. Really far out of his depth. We haven't seen training so we don't know what he's been like since.

That was a preseason match where he was only expected to make a cameo , it's pretty harsh to write off a player from one performance especially since it occurred during preseason

It's all I've seen although I believe he didn't look great in the game against Bradford either. You'd like to think he's going to be given a chance again soon but who knows.
 

We should be playing him Mykolenko is crap and can’t cross and doesn’t bomb on. Aznou can beat a man he has good footwork and will be so much better than Myko. I think Moyes just doesn’t trust him because he thinks he will lose the ball trying to pull off some tekkers. Frustrates me he hasn’t been given decent game time. I think he will be a fan favourite if he got some decent minutes
 
Myko is so consistently below average. I suspect Adam is the best LB at the club. That's based on almost the same amount of evidence as those that have written him off. I'm not trusting Moyes' judgement (McNeil @10, shoehorn Keane, Rohl all over the park, McNeil before Dibling at RW, weird subs).
