2025/26 Adam Aznou

He ran fast for 15 minutes against Sunderland on the wing. Next Roberto Carlos though.
Hardly a mad idea to have an option like that on the bench to bring on though is it? I don’t think anyone is pretending he’s anything special but other than Ndiaye and a very few fleeting moments of George, who else do we have in our squad who will look to go past a player? Why not have him on the bench instead of Coleman or Patterson who both sat and watched as the right back was substituted yesterday and the best and only central midfielder who can actually pass the ball forward, was put at right back before either one of them was asked to warm up.

Anyway, it’s all moot as Moyes wouldn’t use him anyway.

Is English your second language? He played on the wing, Myko is a full back. Do you think he should get more game time ahead of our other wingers? McNeil is the only one I will concede.
I don't think he's amazing, I don't think his cameo against Sunderland warrants him guaranteed starting LB spot, neither do I think he is the next Roberto Carlos.

I do think he could've played at least 10 minutes of football since that point, given he looks quick and direct and we've plugged gaps on our left hand side for months.

I didnt say you said any of these things.

Yeah I dont know why, I can only assume he's not trusted defensively. I don't disagree with wanting to see him.

For me, it's much more about us being predictable with Mykolenko at left back, than Aznou being that great. At least with Aznou, if we played him against City, they wouldn't know what to expect. Amount of times he gets behind opposition defences and falls over is ridiculous. He does same thing of running into oncoming defender, rather than avoiding him all the time. McNeil isn't a winger and is just as predictable, if either of them start against City I won't bother watching the game. Mykolenko is an alright defender, but he has a nervous breakdown when he's in oppositions half.
