Has he even had a minute of football since that Sunderland game, because he came on and was instantly our best player.

Pretty much the same as Rohl who I thought anyhow had an excellent game away at Villa, pretty much totally out of the picture since.

Just put this in another thread. But it's baffling that these young players come in, play well then get put back in their box.

Maybe he is just a bit crap? Couple people watched him play for U21s and weren't impressed. Did well for us in a cameo as a winger, could be nice to see him get opportunity maybe.

Maybe. I assume it's just time he needs and we are managing that. He's gone, quite quickly to Barcas academy, then to Bayern where he barely had minutes and then a decent amount of time in La Liga, but he's not had a huge amount of 1st team football.

It's a hard adaptation physically playing in the premier league.

Alcarez, Rohl, Armstrong have all had moments like that themselves then nothing.
But then McNeil has had strong performances against well, ehhm, anyhow.

I don't know to be fair. Surely had the feeling of all the 3 above and George of I want to see more than Dibling, who has that heavy 40m price tag on him.

Yeah, I mean McNeil has not been on the lvl of previous years, where he was effective with his limitations.

I just don't know. People have said he's a long way off premier league football as a full back. Ive not seen him once except for as a winger in a decent cameo. He might be crap or he might have a lot of talent that will show itself in coming seasons if hes patient.

Yep, fully deserving of not playing a single minute after that. Disgraceful to put in 100% effort even your superior (Mykolenko) is given 90 minutes was week and is a liability.

Is English your second language? He played on the wing, Myko is a full back. Do you think he should get more game time ahead of our other wingers? McNeil is the only one I will concede.
