Bonkers indeed...we are a premier league club because of him this season with his goals last season. He is and has been vital for us, yet we do not have a plan and/or replacement when he is not available. I guess a player like him would just be, as of now, out of our price range anyway.

Happy Birthday to Abdoulaye Doucouré, 31 today... for some reason, I didn't think he was that old.
I've not been his biggest fan by any means, but he does pop up with vital goals for us and we are really missing the guy right now.

I don’t understand why he’s such a hard player to replace, how can it be so hard to just get a player to replicate the job he does on the pitch? Why does the manager insist on changing the formation before he just tries someone else in that role and asks them to do what Doucoure does, which is essentially buzz around the striker and pick up second balls?
