MOTM for me today…. Don’t get me wrong myko was fantastic, branthwaite and tarkowski outstanding and McNeil had a good game too but he’s just everywhere at the moment and the player I feel we’d miss most if he wasn’t there.

I mean I said it ages ago that he's a player that relies mainly on his energy & instinct. He's not a technically gifted footballer by any stretch - but he's a presence who puts himself in the right positions a lot.

He actually kinda reminds me of Cahill a bit.. just not as good in air obviously!

He reads the game well.

His weaknesses (all players have them) are hidden more in the role he has been playing which works out well for everyone.

6 league goals is a good return for a striker at this point in the season, never mind a midfielder. Then throw in his pressing, work rate, defensive contributions etc. It’s like playing with 12 men.
