His TYPE would, not him. The pouting tit was a big part of the reason Watford got relegated. Couldn't be bothered despite earning millions a year because he couldn't get his move away.
Watford got relegated cause they're utter gash with rotating managers every 5 minutes.

Let’s see how he is with us. Watford are a shambles. I was on their forums this morning to see what they think of him and they absolutely hate us.

They were saying it was a sideways move. Sure lads.

Would not mind at all if they started looking elsewhere. He's really not all that...

Why would we though?

The deal is close. Levanthal (who is 100% spot on with Watford news) has said Watford and Doucoure are ready for the deal to happen. It almost certainly will happen, it's just the final few details.

He's been a long-term target. He adds stuff we need to our midfield and has four seasons of Prem experience.

There's two weeks to go until the season starts and hardly any teams have done business - in fact it's only really kicking into gear in the last week.

There's not really any need to look elsewhere atm.

No he wasn't.

He played really well under Pearson from January up until the season was suspended - playing in a more advanced role.

Watford were a shambles when they came back and then the board decided to sack Pearson.

His 'sulking' had nothing to do with it. He didn't fail to get a move in January, for one. PSG were only reported to be interested last summer?

How? How has ANY player been a long term target considering we've had 2 different managers playing in 2 completely different styles?

We wanted him in 2018 and bid for him last year...

Clearly he's a player both of the managers in that time frame (and the DoF) think offers something our midfield needs.

I may mock Newcastle United and deride the rs on these pages, but for Watford it would be indifference if it wasn't for the soupcon of contempt that I experience when I hear of them.
