If we do end up signing Allan and Rodriguez for less than £30m combined, as is being reported, this would severely weaken Watfords ability to bully us on an asking price. They no longer have any power to hold us to ransome when we can turn round and say we have just bought 2 World class players from Champions League teams for less than you're asking for Doucoure. I think we will look elsewhere.

Came in to post the same thing. Can now bide our time until the end of the window. Watford are under pressure to sell as the player will be unhappy and given his age they really need to sell this Sumer or the fee will depreciate further
