Oh absolutely agree. The 5 year ones bite us in the arse big time. Just would have thought for someone who is 27 they would extend a bit. But @blulouie said its for 3 and an option, that's more than ok by me!

Being announced alongside James Rodriguez doesn't overshadow him at all. Its quite the opposite. I cant think of any better publicity for the lad.
Losing a day of training for either over this would make even less sense
