In a decent team with legs about him, I honestly think Gomes could be one of the best midfielders in this league.

But have him alongside Davies and Sigurdsson and he looks like he's stuck in treacle because the flaws in his game are exposed.

It's why we need a new midfield, but of all the ones we have, Gomes is comfortably the best of them.

Ya gomes would be a top player alongside some decent midfielders. Look at the junk he has had beside him.
