Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Not wanting to digress too much within the Aaron Lennon thread but:

You not reckon McGeady is a good option against the lower league teams at home who come and just sit back? Against WBA for example, his ability to beat a man and get a semi-decent cross in could have made the difference. Perhaps i'm clutching at straws here but i do think he's a good player.
I've got no faith in him whatsoever. He's one of the sloppiest players I've seen at Everton in quite some time.

It was probably more Lennon (rightly) saw himself as a senior player & his initially reaction was to side with Adebayor. He did subsequently back track. Not sure how much of this is all hearsay/gossip but there does at least seem to be an element of truth in it.

Of course, it all helped cement Kane's hero status amongst the fans (including me).

Just seen the pictures of Lennon from the OS, a bit dissapointed, he no longer has the tram lines in his eyebrows! :)

Good to see that he is getting stuck into training straight away, should be on the bench for the derby I think........

Start him and give him 60 mins I reckon.

If he has anything about him he will be desperate to make an impression

Robles
Coleman Stones Jagielka Baines
Barry
Besic McCarthy
Lennon Lukaku Mirrallas.

What you reckon?

Robles

coleman stones jags baines

mccarthy besic

lennon Naismith pienaar

lukaku

really want to see it before some of you oik ol Stevie P out...Love Pienaar me and think his guile, Naismith's doggedness and lennon's pace would still be terrifying for numerous defences

What are those black boots he's wearing like? Did he turn up without kit and had to borrow them from the '[Poor language removed] kit bin'? Or does he really have the same size feet as Joel?

I think he'll start on the bench and it will be Naismith for Lennon and Howard for Robles. Mirallas is still carrying a hamstring problem it seems and can't last more than 60 minutes, bring Lennon on the for the last 30 when their defence is tiring and see what damage he can do.

When was the last league game he started for Spurs @Yid4life

Yep, that works too

So,

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Baines
Barry
Besic McCarthy
Naismith Lukaku Mirrallas

This is THE game i'd want an inform Barkley, but sadly that won't be the case

I agree with other posters that Martinez needs to pull one of his "vs Arsenals" and mastermind the victory rather than going toe-to-toe with them

Lennon will be a good option from the bench, definitely

No idea mate. Start of the season maybe? Has started in some of the Europa games.

Unless someone gets injured in training this week, he wont start. It will be the same staring 11 we had at Palace, then Lennon will probably get 20 mins at the end

Pienaar hasn't played for weeks and has been on the decline for the last 3 seasons, would be a bad decision to start him on Saturday. He used to be boss, he isn't anymore.
