Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

The concern is that if we want him in the summer he will be used as bait for them to get Mirallas. It is entirely possible that it was in fact our interest in Lennon that the media caught onto and then added Mirallas into it because that is what they do, but something smells fishy.

Or it could just be that we are still to play all of spurs rivals for the top 4 and Levy is going to try and take some points off them....

A lot of "guilty until proven innocent" from Evertonians around t'net. Personally I think it is good business as we lack sufficient pace on the wings.

Under the circs, better than I expected. I was envisaging Tim Cahill coming back in a drawn-out press conference with Martinez hailing him as a "phenomenal" player. Which he is, in spirit and gamesmanship, but age would probably dictate otherwise in the Prem.

The problem mcgeady has, is that he plays a team sport
The problem McGeady has is he's almost as good as Messi. I'm sure Moomin will quote me on that one but hear me out.

He's almost world class, 95% of what he does like dribbling and shooting is world class however unlike Messi every now and again he [Poor language removed] up making him pretty useless although he will score the odd worldie or get 5* in skills on fifa.

Ok so it's late and I've had a bit of Bacardi.

I'm warming to the Lennon deal. He's better than McGeady and Naismith and unlike them was actually good enough to hold down a starting position for a top 4 side plus he gives us balance and pace. He isn't what I was expecting and it's a bummer he's cup-tied but he'll be good for next season.

Id have to have two bottles of Bacardi and some super strength mcat to come to a similar conclusion to that lid.
