That's a completely different question entirely. They're both pretty poor and I wouldn't miss either. However, this is about Sinclair not the clubs.

He may have played well at the weekend, however I would be more concerned why he hasn't featured for so long.

Only with game time will we know if he'd have been a sensible option (where we've missed out) or we've been sensible not going for him.

The likes of Downing and Sigurðsson have shown that sometimes a player just needs the opportunities. Others have just not been up to it.

Thats true enough. He's been out of the picture for a while because you took the Man City pay days, a little bit like Rodwell...who was injured for a while, but not as much as City said, according to Rodwell. The thread in which I mentioned Sinclair was the 'unlikely names under the radar' transfer thread, and I think he was a good example of that.
