Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

we've honestly just got to give the lad a chance. New start for him. He might really be up for it.

Spot on
The lad has something to prove, which we may well benefit from.

If he does well, we then have to decide if he can continue to deliver next season and whether he's worth what Spurs want.
If he's poor, then he goes back to Spuds.

I realise some people are getting offended by other people who are somewhat underwhelmed by this transfer, but can I just say that starting your defence of Aaron Lennon with "He can't be any worse than <insert rubbish players name>" isn't a very persuasive argument for signing him.

Can't we sign a player with good attributes who we know (or have confidence in saying) will improve the team?

Or does that type of signing cost a squillion pounds?

I would, but unfortunately I haven't played football manager since I started get hairs on my balls, it was called championship manager back then.

So wind your neck in

Bobby needs you lad

Get yourself down to Finch Farm now lad with your 400 page dossier on players from Sweden you creature

Let's bullet point it for the soccer mongs on here:

  1. We need a winger, he's a winger.
  2. We need a winger who is direct and with pace, he's got this.
  3. The move could freshen him up like a change can to us humanoids.
  4. He should stop the likes of Naismith and Barklang being played on the wing.
  5. He is not costing a fee and if all the above doesn't come up trumps then we send him back.
