Can't keep the smile off his face these days!Look forward to the day I fly out of the Aaron Lennon airport.
Can see Aaron signing and playing the best football of his career with us. He genuinely seems to enjoy being here and it's showing in his play.
He endears himself to me just that little bit more with every game.
It's a very valid question and a very real concern. Sadly, there's no way to know for sure. If he plays well for the remainder of his time with us then I suppose we just have to sign him and cross our fingers. If we can con some promoted side into coughing up £3m or £4m for McGeady I'll be quite happy overall. The issue is if we were to sign him, would his performance drop? Is he playing out of his skin just to get a contract like Pienaar did when he came back on loan?

7m isnt overpriced at all in the modern market, experienced player who works hard and knows the league well, is nothing.
Compare him to other wings... downing... markovic... both signed for 20m.. then it's a bargain.
Lennon had another good game today he , and Coleman were a constant threat - 7 million may be a bit pricy as he will want top wages no doubt! And yet 6m for Kone looks grotesquely overpriced
I think if the injury had not happened, he would be a different player and the 6m would have been a okay investment, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way.And yet 6m for Kone looks grotesquely overpriced
Glad he's proven me totally wrong since arriving on loan. Didn't really see the benefits of that deal. Have to admit he surprised me with his tiredless running, workrate and footballing brain.
