While this sucks, loads of councils have been doing this for ages. Loads of them are nearly bankrupt, because the Tories spent 14 years reducing their central government funding by almost half. I'm in Somerset, and ours has been going up 5% every year for yonks, whether it's Tories or Liberal Democrats in control.

Reform ran on a platform of reducing it because they thought there was a load of stuff they could get away with cutting, because they're mostly inexperienced and rather stupid, and they are now being hit by reality.

Isn't it as clear as day that reform are failed/extreme tories?

If immigration is your main concern (I'll completely agree there should be SOME concern) just ask yourself which party oversaw the complete collapse of the immigration system.
