A Fresh Start For Each And All?

I get that players and managers fall out. What I dont get is the fact he decided he should shaft his boyhood club out of a potetially big transfer fee by letting his contract run down. That doesnt hurt Koeman it hurts the club and the fans. He could of signed that deal and still got his move...he chose not to, made it perfectly clear he wanted out and travelled to london for a medical (whether it happened or not). That is what I mean by 'antics'. It just doesnt sit right with me. Now every1 is like all is forgiven come back lad...na not me. Maybe we should agree to disagree on this one?
that's on way of looking at it, another could be that he was looking to reassess whether his relationship with koeman changed before deciding to move on. None of us know except Barkley himself. I would love him to stay, desperately missing his ability in the team.

Martina and Williams apart, a fresh start for all. It is impossible that there are no U23 / U18 kids that offer a viable alternative to that pair of busted flushes. If indeed there are no better alternative then things are bleak indeed.

It should be a case of everyone having a fair shake (except Martina, obviously, he should hand over his locker key now). Hopefully, the fans will give the players and the new boss (interim or otherwise) their full support, at least for a few weeks.

Now that Koeman is out the way we will find out if he will sign again or shaft his boyhood club.

No excuses now but with some people even if he dumps on their door step in will never be his fault

I can't see the future mate lol. I think we will be much better in a couple of weeks. It will be baby steps, sure. But often times manager switches and January signings spark a reaction from the players. I expect the players to react.
I agree you usually get the bounce back effect for a month or two , but when it eventually settles back you can end up with exactly the same problems and in our case it would occur with half the season still to play. Concerning times, I feel.
Much depends on the quality of the manager we appoint. I’ve got my hopes pinned on Thomas Tuchel, personally.
