You could add Fellaini to that list without anyone batting an eyelid to be fair.

Ignore the hyperbole and just say that him and Baines are both among the 20 most talented players to play for us since the war and it would be criminal if we didn't convert that into some actual tangiable success and I'd agree with you.

It's win win for us with fellaini who by the way is certainly not irreplaceable! Cr7 and messi10 are the only ones who are...

Lets be honest he ONLY signed the contract because of a release clause being put in, giving him an escape route. Again the price of that release clause will have been negotiated from both sides so to blame Bill if its 27M as reported is a bit harsh. I doubt very much the Fellaini side would of agreed to anything much higher.

As for life after Fellaini we would be fine. If anything would could well be better off if moyes has all that to spend again. I'd imagine he'd bring ALOT of quality into the side with that.

And If he doesn't move on great, we keep a very good player!
