A 5year Plan

Where's that come from, never heard of that before?

If Everton have gone and done that with our greatest ever player then Kenwright needs shooting.

I might be wrong like but I'm sure 1 or 2 ITK's have mentioned it before.

To be perfectly honest I'd be a bit gutted if he went for £25m, because he's simply irreplaceable. There is no player in the world who can do the role he currently does for us. Selling him would mean a tactical re-shuffle for sure.

It would have been put in his latest contract, which I was surprised he signed at all, I expected him to be gone in the summe just gone so I'm not complaining too much.

I like your enthusiasm and penchant for a hyperbole; however Fellaini is NOT on par with Ronaldo.
A reason and logical bid would 17.5m to 25m somewhere in the middle.

Now the conclusion is still the same, we could still get 2 quality players for that especially with Moyes' eye.

Yeah I know he isn't as good as Ronaldo yet, that's why he went for 80 million. But Fellaini is still only 24 and he is already one of the best players in Europe, who knows what he will be like in a few years time?

Anything under 35 million and we will be getting ripped off.

Exactly.

Kenwright needs shooting if he lets him go for anything less than 35million.

25-30 mill seems reasonable . We could get at least a good player for 15 mill then the rest we could use as we do now by finding cheap gems . It's a win win with fellaini unless he tries to run his contract down

It wouldn't be far off. He is one of the best players in the world.

Most clubs in Europe are after him, so I can see there being a bidding war for him, and when you think that Ronaldo went to Real for 80million then 40million is more than a fair price.

When was the last time a midfielder who doesn't score a lot of goals went for more than £30m ?

And the comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo is a bit silly, that was a case of United not really needing the money and Real having a practically unlimited supply of cash. Besides, he's one of the best players that has ever kicked a football, and he's scored over 150 goals in 150 games for Real Madrid.

Yaya Toure - £24m
Xabi Alonso - £30m
Lucas Moura - £36m
Sergio Aguero - £35m
Luka Modric - £33m

£40m for a player who doesn't score a lot of goals just isn't realistic. Especially not for a club like us who couldn't afford to turn down a £30m offer.

I hear what you are saying mate but Fellaini is miles better than any of those players you have listed. He is our greatest ever player and to let him go for anything less than 35million would just be embarrassing.

Better than Toure and Aguero ?!

And i think the accolade of greatest ever player would be going to a certain Alan Ball mate.

Im a bit worried by all this talk of min release clause of 26m.

If its true, who the fck allowed that to happen?
If its not true, it makes me think its something the Club have "put out there" to justify the stupid price we will get.

Unfortunately this is probably correct. I'd hope we would get as close to £30m as possible though if we were to sell him.

Me to lad but I just dont see it

I mean look at Kagawa 12m, Corzola 20m,Oscar 25m,Song 15m and Garca 16m

I dont see him goig for more than those players

I love Fellaini but your suggesting he's better than Dixie ffs?
