Manuel Fernandes, wow. That lad could have been something special at EFC.

SIGHS

I thought he was pretty average. Even in the game when he scored that belter against United he stank the place out for the other 89 minutes. And my abiding memory of him is City away when he came on as a sub and asked to be subbed after about 8 minutes.
 

07/08 (not 08/09). Jagielka and Lescott just looked unbeatable, Lescott scored 10 goals, Yaks smile made everyone happy - and his 21 goals did too

This. Challenged for top 4. Good Europa cup run.Finished 5th....and the most enjoyable game I've been to in years when we smashed Sunderland 7.1
 

not much love for 04/05, even tho' it's the only side to ever qualify for the Champions League.

That run of 1-0's we went on was quite amazing.
