It appears bluestevon is sort of right here. Here's the description of the complete flustercluck that the table and the qualifications turned out to be like in the 11/12 season. Note Swansea won the fair play award but appearantly did not play in europe the following season, no idea why

i think the english league then has to have one of the best disciplined leagues as well, for a team to go through via fair play. England doesn't get a fair play spot every year, that's probably why swansea didn't get in.

Two things:

the debt has changed, not been wiped out. EFC will pay that money to Moshiri
the cash spent has been generated by player sales and TV revenue - Kenwright could have overseen that

First thing, the same way that chelsea owe abramavic or man city owe the sheikh? Would you say they were in debt? No, for all intensive purposes we are debt free. Our majority shareholder is following the same path as two if the richest clubs in the leauge not too shabby.

Second thing, if you put together all the money we have recived from player sales in the last two transfers they wouldn't even cover the cost of players we bourght in the summer. Let alone the 35 mill we spent in january or the 20 mill we paid for managment turn around. Thats 55mill put into the club not raised from player sales.

I'm sure the debt owed by Chelsea and Man City to their owners was converted to equity - Moshiri hasn't done that yet and I'm sure won't until at least such time as the transfer of the rest of JW&BK's shares to him completes.

That might be the case for city. I do recall reading a artical about how chelsea still owe money to abramavic even though he coverted his debt into equity

Baggies lost ...we've game in hand and 7 games left

Leicester wont be winning CL

We will be in summers EL qualifications if world doesnt end before it.

Strangely I think LC would match up well against Barca (in a one-off on a neutral field), Monaco, and Dortmund. So there is a path to the title there. I can't really predict ATH-LC because both want to counter and it will be an awful mix of styles.

Pacy defenders that can push our defence line higher, so that pressing on the ball can be implemented

Wes Morgan and Robert Huth would get absolutely destroyed by Messi, Suarez and Neymar.

they can leave 9-10 back and just boot the ball to Vardy. LC plays their best when clubs like to push too many forward.

I don't think they have a chance to catch them off-guard over 2 legs but for one match, doable.

Leicester winning the CL makes absolutely no difference to 7th getting EL.

The max of 7 European spots for ENG is also a myth. The max is actually 9 (5+4).

The only thing stopping 7th being EL is that mathematically FA cup winner could still finish 8th.
