City 115 charges will be interesting...I think that what we will end up with is a verdict of not guilty but also not innocent due to the complexity of the case so that it doesn't make a mockery of the entire stuff especially at the back of our huge initial 10 points penalty last year. If there is a point deduction for city, it will be small enough to guarantee pl survival...so let's wait and wait to announce it until they know for sure how many points they need. It's corrupt beyond repair.

Well, they are in a roundabout kind of way. What they have been charged with is essentially fraudulent accounting, which had they not been acting fraudulently would have led to them failing PSR.

This is why in my mind, and admittedly simplistic view, their win on the APT rules should have no bearing on the result at all.

What they should be doing, really, is if they are guilty of fraudulent accounting they should then make an accurate assement of their PSR position as it should have been and then do them for that as well. We know that a club can be 'done' for multiple periods in one season, so that shouldn't be an issue at all.

You can generally minus 30-35 mill to get an idea of the PSR loss.

Err that’s not how it work though is it, if Everton were punished for any breaches and city were not then litigation is in order.

No judge would dismiss a case for that even if we sent them a flipping Christmas hamper it’s about reciprocal treatment

Got you. Would be interesting to know the numbers. For this season I think our Covid years are coming off, which were very high for PSR.

No, looks like total loses before exceptions for PSR.
Hopefully a large chunk is stadium related so can be written off.

Don't think stadium costs were ever in the Club accounts once planning was granted.

Watch them keep appealing it until the rules change at which point they’ll claim it’s no longer valid and it’ll quietly be thrown out.

They can appeal as much as they want. Punishment will be applied straight away, same as it was done with us and forest. Dragging any appeal would not be beneficial to city. So I suspect they will take the punishment which we all know deep down to be very light anyhow. As I mentioned, I can see perhaps a points penalty small enough to ensure pl survival. They might end up winning the fa cup, so would still qualify to Europe that way.
