6 + 2 Point Deductions

The points we get all depends if we cooperated this time, we're definitely getting at least 3 points for the initial breach + points for however much we're over the cap but then we might get - points for good behaviour, I would imagine it could be anywhere from 3 to 8 points we'll get hit with

I’d be surprised if it was above 4, as this brings it full circle back to the 10 and as people have said is aligned in severity with the 4 Forest got, but I guess we don’t yet know the size of this breach net of aggravating and mitigating factors.

I think if it’s anything more than 4, they themselves know they will be on a hammering to nothing from a PR perspective especially as the current noise is about dispensing with the current regulations. A significant sanction this time, even speeds up more then need for Independant regulation.

Thing is...it paid off and they survived relegation. They'll probably survive this year too and not have to worry about this edition of Premier League PSR next season.

Same with us. All this piss boiling about how bad our finances are moves on to another set of rules.

This is something I’ve been thinking about lately.

You’re way better off breaking P&S, in some circumstances than complying.

Being in the PL for two seasons is worth 180 mill, if they stay up again more.

You’d take the 4pt hit definitely.

3 to 8? On top of 6? For the 2nd punishment in the SAME season? After Forest getting 4 BEFORE appeal?

If we do. We march on PL HQ!
There's no question it's a mess but if they want to keep fairness they can't punish Forest and suspend our punishment until next season when we're both being punished for the same period of PSR, even if we've already been punished for the previous years PSR as well

This all assumes there's no double jeopardy though, which you would think there isn't, otherwise it would have been announced by now, so we can only hope in appeal they see reason with double jeopardy of being punished twice for the same year even though technically it's a different 3 year period

Its just not cricket really.
Mad why clubs voted not to share broadcast rights equally. Explains why and how quickly those Super League 6 became very sorry and apologised with a measley £3m fine (which I don't think they have paid yet)

The deck is stacked in their favour by MILLIONS.

Utter bootlickers.

Some interesting quotes from Dyche here on the previous mismanagement. Closest I've seen to someone at the club properly calling it out.

Interesting that first Gregg spoke out and now he is. I’m just not sure whether it’s because he feels he can now speak out since Bill has gone or whether it’s an attempt at deflection on his part.

It's certainly interesting that he's calling it out while the owner, and his ultimate boss, remains the same although maybe he knows full well Moshiri has binned it entirely.

I don't read it as deflection to be honest. For a start, he'll have been asked about the finances, he won't have brought it up. I think he's just calling a spade a spade: For years no one took responsibility for financial prudence and there was a culture of "who cares, it's not my money".
