If there is any fairness in the league then I would hope Man City and Chelsea, and any others who have broken the rules, are dealt with using the punishments that were in effect at the time the rules were broken.
If Everton and Forest had not been deducted points, relegation would be just about done. PL must be loving this.
Look so good in the pics, Took an age to turn up, was absolute dog turd.We got our bloody owner from Wish...
The problem we have when it comes to changing the rules is that yes, it would be deeply unfair to punish us and a couple of others so severely and then change the rules but we DO need them to change otherwise, with the underlying numbers in our business, we could be trapped in annual breach for years to come.
Even if we sneak under this season with some player sales, next season is a big problem because a) 21/22 will drop off and it was only a 10m PSR loss, so very hard to match or better and b) we'll have sold assets just to avoid breach this season and there will be few assets left. The stadium may help over time but our numbers are so bad it's not a magic wand.
So even though it will be tempting to be obstinate and vote against rule changes so that others are punished the way we have been, I fear we have no choice but to go along with it because under these rules there's no end in sight.
Next season the three counting years will be 22/23, 23/24 and 24/25, no?No it won’t?
