6 + 2 Point Deductions

Lot of waffle from 'experts' on Chelsea failing the best ffp round. If the prem maintain our deduction is fair then it looks like they will have to deduct Chelsea far more points based on that template. The only way for the prem to avoid having to use that template on more powerful clubs is to give us at least the 4 points back that was based on level of overspend.
Honestly, they just went for 10 because they thought it was sufficiently serious and it was a nice round number. It doesn't make sense for them to have used that formula.

And as ffp kills the market and the ludicrous rolling 3 year system, likely another 6 the year after and cut prices bargains for spurs,rs and utd

Mote and more are plugging themselves out of the Matrix mate.

At what point will the PL realise there are more in 14 clubs than 6.

We will be sacrificed, but at some points all fans will wake up to loosing their best players, a block put on them competing and progressing - all for their own good and sustainability.

No one wants to watch a rigged sport, without competition that undermines skill, innovation and merit.

Yeah I’ve a good mate who was always a very vocal RS fan and he doesn’t give a tuppence about PL footy any more. He’d rather watch Irish league here at home.

That’s my fear in all of this. Another Everton first in being the team that took the entire system down but were destroyed in the process.

‘There can’t be another Everton’ as the Epitaph to our demise.

Fair enough. Do you think we should just meekly accept our fate and know our place? Not being arsey, genuine question.
Not at all. I think we’ve been treated very unfairly. We deserve some form of punishment as we’ve admitted to breaking the rules but not to the extent it stands so far. And it’s right that we are fighting our cause.

But signing up to the ESL wouldn’t help us at all and in the long run would make us worse off as it is designed as a closed shop to protect the richest teams. The ESL is very much an example of turkeys voting for Christmas unless you are one the current elite, super rich clubs.

We would be much better off getting together with the teams outside of the Scum 6 and trying to push a change in the way PSR is structured. I’m all for making sure teams don’t go bust but in its current iteration it is incredibly unfair and only serves to sustain the status quo.

At the very least it should be assessed every 3 years (i.e. the accounting period) to take into account inflation in the market and inflation in general. This wouldn’t be an issue if every league was playing by the same rules as everyone would have the same issues. But every league isn’t run under the same rules. Since PSR came in we’ve had China going mad for a couple of years and now Saudi Arabia doing the same. The market has shifted due to exogenous shocks but the limit of £105m has stayed the same. It makes no sense.
