6 + 2 Point Deductions

Well he’s basically said City are screwed. They have basically been involved in conspiracy and fraud. Said he can only see them being relegated from the league.

He's also trying to state its widespread fraud from many organisations and if reading between the lines it might not happen as it will collapse the game. there was a bit of a hey its not just city here. I thought he sounded like a right arsehole myself. He put the boot into Everton and then tried to be to smart in coming across that he wasnt biased in any way about city. He was subtle about it but he swerved quite a few questions and i noticed he dropped the word innocent in a few times.

We already did make a few reasonably big sales after the last period end - Gray, Iwobi, Cannon all after 30 June - possibly someone else I've forgotten as well.

I don't know the figures so we absolutely could be in trouble again, but given these sales, it's also possible we will be ok.

Until the figures come out we only assume based on what we've seen. We've sold more and brought in less.

But in the background with the stadium, loans, and Moshiri's inability to snake his accounts... we're probably not or at least not satisfying the PL.

Clearly not the same boat as the magnificent Wolverhampton Wanderers getting 17 players off the books

Considering there are almost still 6 months left in the current accounting period, I'm not sure how anyone could know this.
It is incredibly easy to project what our losses are likely to be. That is how you run a business by making projections.

Income is easy mainly TV money+Gate Receipts+Commercial deals.
Expenditure is easy mainly Wages, player amortisation, agents fees and repayment of loans.

The only way to turn things around for us is through player trading. We know what each player's value is on the books and we know their likely value.

That is why running a football club is like steering an oil tanker it takes along time to turn things around. That is why some of us were so concerned about Moshiri's crazy gambles in the transfer market at the start of his tenure.

I suspect we will most likely see Branthwaite depart before then end of the financial year as he’s pure profit other than his sell on.

Who knows what the position is this season, some fella on talksport doesn’t. What’s true is that the structure of FFP does trap you, especially when a point deduction could result in tens of millions in lost prize money.

The club will know the figures for all these things. But the figures aren't public knowledge so we are only able to estimate.

Like for example, lots of deals are undisclosed transfers nowadays - we don't know an exact number.

The club should absolutely know, but outside observers can only estimate. And as you will know, the P&L figure in the stats is adjusted for allowances under PSR, so again not easy to estimate.

I hate the word but with our debt level where it is at the only way out of this may be administration, to reset the apple cart. It seems we are spiraling more and more out of control into the black hole. I’m beginning to accept that it is the likely result here.

I wonder if they prefer the points deduction to a transfer ban as such a ban would not allow his "small clubs" to sell their prized assets to his Sexy Six. I also think we need an anti Prem mascot to focus on, c'mon, who's prepared to dress up for home games dressed as a penis with a pink Prem Corrupt FC shirt on with Dickie Little written on the back?
