100% and now we’re faced with the absurdity of facing two sanctions in the same season for offences that by their very definition occur once a season at most.

They wanted to deal with us last season but we managed to get it delayed … probably because we knew it would take us down.

that may explain what has been going win, we should have been dealt with last season but used the process to delay it. Last season, a deduction would have sent us down. It isnt beyond the realms of sanity to understand that the EPL recognise we should have been relegated last season and are making sure it happens this season in stead by hitting us with e deduction that will ensure we go down. Unfortunately the law process doesnt work like that.

IF that is really true, then why would a club like Everton vote to introduce it?

Feels like it would be the end of the world but in reality it would probably be absolutely boss, like Leicester or Southampton this season.

Smashing teams left, right and centre and bringing that beautiful trophy back to the old lady for her finale.

Or , we would end up in administration and end up in the lower leagues like man city , Forrest and Leeds for 10 years

Discussed this yesterday but the fact their new quicker process starts in January this year and still ends after the season shows that after charging us in March last season a resolution before the end of the season couldn’t have happened while upholding due process.

A transfer ban has always been the correct punishment. Forces you to sort out your finances over a year. A points deduction plucked out of thin air and with dodgy laws backing it will always cause a mess.

Seeing people seemingly accepting of a potential transfer ban.

Talk of a ban or points should be volleyed into orbit by every evertonian, the entire process has been a debacle and no punishment derived from it should be acceptable.

If we had recieved a financial fine for the financial breach, as many other clubs have been penalised as such, there’s no argument from any of us.
