5 Star Albums - The Killers - Hot Fuss

One of only 5 albums I truly consider to be a 5* album. It possesses an incredible guitar tone and atmosphere that they themselves have never been able to replicate. Slow songs like Hands Away, NYC, and Leif Erikson just take the breath away while the upbeat rockers like Obstacle 1, Say Hello to the Angels and Stella Was a Diver, are post punk perfection.

I could go on for hours about this album, but I'd suggest just listening to it instead.

Alio, There's no better place to watch a gig than Brixton Academy. Downstairs, obviously. I saw pulp there last August and then suede a week or two later ( I'm so old). It's such a brilliant venue

The one that springs to mind is John Talabot - Fin. Painfully obvious as I say and I wouldn't do it justice.
