Half an outfield there of top young players, not just potential there either, they're all very exciting players with a strong team ethic. Whose next to come through the reserves or be brought into the club?

That's why I posed the question of whose coming through and whose coming in (unless that's what you meant as its almost 2am here!).....

Robles -- Jury is out still
Duffy -- Jury is out still but most likely not a Martinez player (not a ball player)
Green -- Still young
Lundstram -- Next I think rumoured to come through
2 loanees -- Maybe Lukaku.....

It's a fair point.

For all the fears about our aging squad we seem to have lowered the average age of our starting line up without much grief at all.

Was very excited with him but recently he's a bit too 'luxury' for me without quite hitting the spot.....wouldn't put him on the same potential level as the others.....needs to be more of a team player I think

Exactly, still looking at the wide areas and up front we need a couple of new faces in there as well then I think the future 11 would really start to take shape.

Would be a real coup if he could gradually come into Barrys position.

Best case scenario is to sign Barry and let him understudy at his feet...play him in the league cup and the odd league game and let him progress. I have very high hopes for him. Although he's not like for like with Barry...more box to box, but has a great range if passing.
