So, these are our last ten games. How many points would you say we will get from them?

Stoke (h)
Pompey (a)
Wigan (h)
Villa (a)
Chelsea (a)
Man City (h)
Sunderland (a)
Spurs (h)
West Ham (h)
Fulham (a)

As I mentioned in 'The top six' thread, I reckon we'll get 22 and that by the time we play Villa we'll be only one point behind them.

My 22 are made up by wins against Stoke, Wigan, Villa, Man City, Spurs and West Ham and draws against Pompey, Chelsea, Sunderland and Fulham. I don't think we will lose another league game. The only game I consider maybe losing is the semi final.

Very, very difficult to predict games at the end of the season as teams inevitably fight for their lives, causing a good many odd results to happen. All very cliched but take each game as it comes.

We will lose 3 of them.

Don't know which 3 but definatly 3.

Definatly chelsea and fulham away.

And Man City at home.

We'll draw with Spurs at home.

And win the rest.

Can't see us winning as many as that unfortunately :(

I think we'll beat Stoke, Wigan ,Spurs and West ham :):)
Draw with Pompey, City and Sunderland : unsure:
And with our bad records against these sides away - lose to Villa, Chelski and Fulham :(:(:(

Which gives us +15 points - and a final total of 60pts - Good enough for 6th I reckon:D

I love your optimism mate. No defeats in the League would be fantastic but i feel we will lose at Chelsea. To be honest, i would take just that one defeat now.

You have to consider that other teams will also drop points too. Villa for instance look in freefall at the moment. The teams below us seem to be taking points off each other as well. I think 6th place is fairly safe, I can't see either us dropping that many points or a team below us getting on a good enough run to catch up. The question is whether we can sneak up an extra place.

20

6 wins
2 draws
2 losses

I suppose in the real world yours is nearer the mark than mine, Gaz (that two of my draws could easily be losses) but I can't help feeling super confident right now. The only thing that would change that feeling is injuries to Stevie P and/or Louis IX or possibly the lads thinking too much about Wembley.

We'll get 20

Stoke (h) - 3
Pompey (a) - 3
Wigan (h) - 1
Villa (a) - 1
Chelsea (a) - 0
Man City (h) - 1
Sunderland (a) - 1
Spurs (h) - 3
West Ham (h) - 3
Fulham (a)- 1
Total : 20

This is when all predictions go out the window, the bottom teams will start picking up wins, they will all be tough games from this point on.

I would be happy for us to break the 60 point barrier which would be an indicator of progression and see where that gets us.

i still believe we have eniough left in the tank to finish 6 th due to the fact our home form has been good recently and we still have to play very beatable teams at home

I honestly believe that once again we will buck the trend.

I think the sniff of wembley will actually spur us on.

My 20 points is a worst case scenario pete.

As long as I meet you halfway in our guesstimations(soon to be an official word) then I will be as sweet as the preverbial nut.
