Now that's a worrying way to look at it!

I do hope we can get one before Saturday - would hopefully give everyone a little lift. The last week is going to be madness! Following suit with this summer really.

Is hope a good thing or a bad thing? I simply don't know any more.

The worrying thing is that there aren't any new names being added to the rumour mill really - just the same stuff about Moutinho, M'Bia, M Johnson, Bradley, Smith (not keen on signing him at all) and Milito. That Kenwright interview on Sky two weeks ago looks more stupid by the day. Some names not spotted by the press? More smoke and mirrors it seems.

I just wish I could be there for the EGM. What's the date for the big battle?

Well, Everton have agreed a deal with Juventus and it's just down to Tiago now. Fingers crossed. It's a bit [Poor language removed] though this isn't really?*

*My new catchphrase

Its exciting isnt it, its like an episode of 24, but i doubt if even Jack Bauer could save us from this.

"The following episode will take place between the hours of 11pm and 12am on the 1st September"

Terrorists have take over 1 of the greatest and best Soccer teams in the entire world, they are threatening to totally [Poor language removed] up their season. Its up to CTU to inflitrate and get the information needed to sign some players for the roster.

Will CTU get the players in? Will BK get injected with that funny thingy in the arm and go all funny and spill the beans? Tune in on 2nd Septemeber.

But ofc Watch it all here on GOT.

11 and a bit days left... Hands up who predicted that we'd get this far without signing a single player.

Ill be sad when the window closes!

Will anyone else miss phrases like "watch this space", "wake up and smell the coffee", "Phantom Bids" & "Smoke and Mirrors".

I trust, there will be extended versions of "Dithering Dave", "Kenwrong" and "Lieness" into the season!

This transfer window, most surely will go down in the books as the most depressing ever. Even if we sign 5-6 players in the hours left, I never experienced such negativity and doom and gloom regarding transfers ever before. Not only on this forum, but everywhere you look. I'm normally a very optimistic person by nature, but even I'm getting more depressed by the hour.:(

Nothing but the worst is bad enough!:)

Totally agree, but all summer ppl have been saying have faith, we will get players in. I honestly cant see it, i think we have messed up BIG TIME and when the brown stuff hits the fan mid season i expect total allout war at boardroom level. Moyes included.

Its gonna be a bumpy ride, strap yourselfs in and hold on tight.

It's been [Poor language removed], it really has. Bizarrely, though, there is a sick, twisted humour in just how poor things have been. We went from link after link of top-class players to this: Alan Smith, who isn't going to sign anyway. You've just got to laugh about it. Oh yeah, and we had all become so smug. All this laughing at teams like Newcastle, and what joke they were. Well look at us now, the biggest laughing stock of the summer. But like I said, you've got to see the funny side and have a laugh about it.

Have to admit I was one of these people and I still haven't lost all faith, but nowhere as sure about as I was before. Whatever way it turns out, we let it far to late though.

Unbelievable, I'm a supporter of probably two of the most [Poor language removed] up clubs in world football. You're right, you've got to laugh when looking at it. :(:):D:lol:

Tbh, i`ve lost interest. The ineptitude of the last month is nothing short of stupidity of the highest level and anybody thats signed now if it isnt Mountinho (spl) smacks of desparation.Fuckn joke
