i seem to remember reading somewhere not so long ago.. about a manny deal needing to be tied up by the 20th june. has that clock stopped ticking?

oh is it just me or does anyone else have the feeling we're heading into another period of pre-season speculation - full of sound and fury signifying nowt?

looking forward to being :blush: on this one.
 

not sure.. seem to recall it coming from manny himself.. something about this being the end of a period of his availabilty at a certain price agreed by his owners/valencia..?
 
That story was dismissed by Everton sources. There have been no attempts recently to sign Fernandes. The word is that we wouldn't be looking at any more than a loan deal.

If I recall correctly was it not zenit giving that deadline to Arshavin. If he has not found a new club by the 20th then he will commit to them for another 12 months.

I may be wrong though. Can't find the link.
 

If it is done to this strict deadline then i'm pretty sure nothing will come out till a good 2 weeks after.
 
This is the madest thread of all time, pfftt! Signing players by te 20th of june, times are hard in the oul news department.

Obviously i will be deleating this post if we sign ashavein tomorow!
