Just seen the video of the Senagal players throwing the ball in the air and watching it hit the ground and bounce about a foot. 😫

Shocking that for a world cup, they think they can roll out a bit of turf over a solid base a couple of weeks before the tournament, and call it a pitch!

Those pitches will last no more than a couple of games, and we are going to see players feet giving way from the outset. Hopefully we don't see to many injuries!

I can’t stress this enough: they are not playing World Cup matches in Charlotte
 
8 of the 16 world cup pitches have artificial surfaces and have recently laid turf (world cup approved grass) rolled out on top. So similar to what's been rolled out at Charlotte.
Is it possible that something put in to last for a month of high stakes games is of a higher quality than something that needs to last maybe a week for a friendly?
