It's a risky game. They regularly didn't sell all of ST resale seats in the stadium's inaugural season. We're not LFC or Man Utd, we need a high ST ownership to ensure that we fill it regularly. There is also less incentive to buy corporate lite seats if those fans can see cheaper GA seats going empty every week. The whole financial model collapses if they push the tkt pricing too far.... i think they're already at that point.
Whilst I don't disagree with your analysis, I don't have any faith in the people at the club to have thought all of this through

Tbh, my statistical analysis doesn't really extend beyond A-level maths over 40yrs ago, but some of the mud must've stuck.

Yes, I agree about the initial protest vote aspect, but would've thought that would balance out after the deadline, to more reflect the reality, IF people updated accordingly.

I noticed some in the comments said that they relented on their protest and renewed, but also many saying that they had dropped out and were going to pick and choose games going forward. Sadly, 2 of my older mates have given up after over 100 years worth of season tkts between them.
That’s a real shame. I had a season ticket at Goodison donkeys years ago when my dad was alive and my son was a little lad. After my dad died, and having another child, I struggled with the costs of travelling to every match from the Isle of Man and gave the tickets up. I was one of the 3,000 (some sources say 4,000) new season ticket holders who were offered one when we moved to HDS. Now retired, and more financially able, I can meet the costs, and I’m also very fortunate that the sequence of midweek evening games wasn’t a problem - I feel for those who have to travel and then go to work the next day.

You may be right, but in the club’s info about the ST renewal process did they not explicitly state that all relinquished STs would be offered to those at the top of the waiting list? I think they did.
I think they said that all relinquished seats will be available to existing season ticket holders who wish to relocate. I'm not sure it implied that all relinquished seats will then be offered to those on the waiting list. Neither, conversely, did it rule out that more will be made available. It will be interesting to see how far down the waiting list they go ...

Ah - thanks, interesting. My son is in the 1501 to 2000 band so may, emphasis on may, have a chance. And you’re right, how many are offered will be quite telling.

You’re right - the website says this:

The exact number of Season Tickets that will become available to supporters on the waiting list will depend on the renewal rate of existing Season Ticket Members.

Should Season Tickets become available for 2026/27, qualifying supporters at the top of Tier One of the Season Ticket waiting list will be offered the opportunity to purchase from Monday 22 June.

Yeah, agree. They are probably at the limit of how far they can push it, or close to it.

I think I'm right in saying that all the general admission tickets sold out last season for every game. The empty seats were either third party or season ticket seats that ST holders couldn't resell. Either way, somebody had paid for those empty seats so, from the club's perspective, every game was sold out.

I guess their choice now might be whether they think the demand is there so that they can take season tickets that haven't been renewed and sell them through general admission instead. Still achieving a "sell out" every week but generating higher revenue.

Has anyone on the waiting list been contacted yet and offered a ticket? They said they’d let people on the list know this week but i haven’t heard anything yet.
I’m in the 15001-18000 band so probably not got a chance but just curious to see how far i’ll move down the list.

The club have said that although the people offered a season ticket won’t be able to select their seat until 22nd June, they will nonetheless be notified this week. So therefore only tomorrow or Friday to wait. Everyone on the waiting list who isn’t offered a season ticket this time around will be given an update on their waiting list band.

Knowing Everton it will be 5pm Friday

New to the Forum.

I've been on the waiting list on tier 1 since 2018/2019. Every year I shuffle down a little more.

I was gutted last year when I never got one. I am still 500-999 on the list. I'm very hopeful to get one this year.

I was up with the lark on Monday thinking I'd be getting the good news....

Thursday evening and not even a email. Strange club aren't we. Don't want our money maybe.

I’m in the the 1000-1499 group, finger’s crossed

Has anyone on the waitlist had any news yet or been contacted?
We were supposed to be getting contacted week commencing 25th May. I assume this will be true Everton style and that will mean sometime late June.
