Aside from the fact that it's an obvious lie, who in their right mind even talks like this?
And this is how he talks.
All the time
Lying ? How very dare youBut they did vet him. He used the C word, they removed it, ok'd the rest.
This is just straight up lying.
It's all part of the Stop The Steal 2024 argument. We were ahead in the polls, all the polls had us ahead. No way we can lose, it was rigged, etc, etcA lot of polling has put him ahead there so that feels like a switch !
I mean having read a little I think the betting has definitely been manipulated, then you see some allegations of poll manipulation but from listening to liberal podcasts I think there was a lot of talk he was doing ok in Pennsylvania with apathy playing a part .It's all part of the Stop The Steal 2024 argument. I know where to engage with Trump supporters and unfortunately i dont have to go to another teams message board.Trump supporters based in the US don't follow Premier League soccer. If you really want to engage with Trump supporters, just go to your favorite NFL/college football board and you'll find plenty of them.
It's a "liberal" phenomenon. The grind over every issue, always playing the pessimist. They will always act like the sky is falling, which makes how Trump and today's GOP treat everything worse - b/c it makes it seem more like Trump really IS winning in the polls, when at best Trump is in a dead heatI mean having read a little I think the betting has definitely been manipulated, then you see some allegations of poll manipulation but from listening to liberal podcasts I think there was a lot of talk he was doing ok in Pennsylvania with apathy playing a part .
Like Anything polls though polls are within the Margin of error and events will make relatively big changes .
I do, but this was scripted and on the teleprompter. You do realize comedians can come up with impromptu jokes right?
here's another question for you Kevin. How about you Ruairi?
I don't agree with this. Your analogy is false. Thanks to the US being the sole mega superpower on this Earth, the sitting American President affects everyone on this world including foreign wars, world economy, gas prices, stock market etc. It affects even the average Joe from Helsinki as you seem to quote as the next administration has a huge effect on NATO's future.I know where to engage with Trump supporters and unfortunately i dont have to go to another teams message board.
And I know most on the right dont like soccer.
But it kinda baffles me that those not living in the US have such unshakeable views on this and really feel that they need to be heard from London, Cork, Helsinki, Bootle, or whereever Steve and Dyslexic are posting from...
It'd be like me going on a "thoughts on the match day planning at Goodison Park". I don't go to the game.
I'd read the thread and find it interesting to hear what match going blues have to say but I probably wouldnt weigh in.
There's plenty popping up this week, not paying any attention to what Americans on here have to say and just parroting what they read on their tailored Musk feed.
Not one of you has come on here and said "Interesting, didnt think of it that way, thanks for the info, etc."
Here in Boston Evertonians one of our founding members ran for congress in Maine for the GOP this year. He came very close in the primaries. When ever we meet up we have reasonable discussions because he doesn't carry on like the right wingers on here.
Just seems like a bunch of idealists sitting on line with little or nothing to lose, goading those with lots on the line.
Yeah, same here. This statement is an oxymoron
Any modicum of normality will be gone
I know it will certainly hurt my mental health and the mental health of Mrs. PF. As well as that of many people close to me
Agree. It is an excellent read and so relevant to what’s going on right now.Just finished this book
For anyone on this thread that cannot comprehend the political climate in the US right now, this is a must read. Very educational and spot on in so many ways. Many of us LIVE this every day through family, friends, and acquaintances. It's just life now.
Mrs PF footy just read Dying of Whiteness that, among other things, goes into detail about the health issues facing rural white Americans and how they continue to vote against their best interests and why that is the case. From what she has told me, some of the details of these books overlap
These books just help to drive home what's going on here, and why I'll fly off the handle when people start nitpicking all of the Democrats flaws, including Harris. We are so far beyond politics as usual it's hard to fathom, when the GOP lives in a completely different universe, and non-MAGA (Democrats and non-MAGA Republicans) are held to a completely different standard, because the media treats MAGA and Trump as the obvious jokes they are, but treat non-MAGA as the adults in the room held to a higher standard.
Infuriating
Oh yea, for sure, but this is the election race and rather than taking anything anyone from America says onboard, they/you just come on here to goad and brag and repeat vacuous nonsense.I don't agree with this. Your analogy is false. Thanks to the US being the sole mega superpower on this Earth, the sitting American President affects everyone on this world including foreign wars, world economy, gas prices, stock market etc. It affects even the average Joe from Helsinki as you seem to quote as the next administration has a huge effect on NATO's future.
Birds of a feather! The campaign trail turns to Wisconsin today, where Trump will be joined by Brett Favre...
