You're confusing two different things. They aren't endorsing either and to be honest that doesn't really make much (if any) difference to how a union member votes.

The problem for the Democrats is that they will not be able to rely on the Unions organising function. This will hinder the Democrats own organisers around the election. It's a logistics headache for the Harris campaign rather than members not voting for her.

And the leadership of the teamsters may in fact have gone on a bit of a solo run.

The polls are unreliable.

It's been just 3 months ago that we saw all the talk in the UK election of 40% share of the vote for the Starmer Gang. The reality was they got substantially less than 34%.

Poor turnout was the reason given. Another factor is the weaponisation of polls.

The US election is on a knife edge in the swing states. That's the reality.
