Decent night for all the “sensible” candidates, IMO. The two front runners, not so much. DeSantis seems like an empty suit who can’t do anything but throw around Conservative buzzwords, and Ramaswamy comes across like a smarmy douche who wants to ride Trump’s coattails.

Perhaps he should sit that civic test he proposes 18-24 year olds sit before they can vote.
Here's the thing about the test for 18-24 year olds, and it shows how divorced from reality the GOP is today (b/c I've heard plenty from that side say, hey yeah, great idea.)
For starters I say bring it on, and I'll go one further - how about everyone take a test to vote. You know what? 18-24 year olds would probably be the biggest demographic to pass because of their proximity to school age. Second would be college educated people of all ages.

When I became a citizen a friend kindly hosted a party to celebrate. There were ~30 people, mostly older college educated and several are politically active. There was quite a bit of interest in the test questions so I did a little group quiz - the current political ones like “name the Chief Justice” were easy but some of the history/civics ones proved a bit harder without preparation especially as some of the questions are a bit awkwardly worded.
