I think this was one of the large negatives against Shapiro when he was in the running for VP.

You want the campaign and the party in a crucial swing state to be united - not sniping at each other (see Trump and Georgia)

Well that was a brilliant speech too. Imagine going for dinner with the Obamas. I'd just be sat there in awe while feeling really stupid. Then they'd notice and make me feel much better about myself

They seem like good people. I've not watched enough of her but he seems like a regular guy--or at least so at ease with others and not much of a stiff--that you'd think they can sincerely get along with (almost) anyone. Can't get past the image of Obama letting a boy touch his hair when he was in the WH; not sure I can explain it all but if it doesn't move you then this is a good story to watch.

…..alarming, concerning and almost unbelievable listening to people in Illinois after being asked who they’re voting for on TV this morning. One bloke said; “this is our Holy War and Trump is God. If we don’t win, we have more guns than them.”

It’s a very simple attack and currently is working as the Republicans don’t seem to know how to counter it. They’ll say they’re not weird but then say something really weird which defeats their point and enforces the Dems point. Case in point, anytime JD Vance opens his mouth.
