She wasn't super popular on the national stage but she did well in CA, re elected DA and reelected Senator.
I think, given the threat Trump poses, the democrats and any sane independent will accept anyone who's in any way coherant.
The dems should wait till after the RNC and announce Harris.
Biden should now try and unite the party around her.
"If not me, her" stuff.
Nominate her at the DNC.
She'll have every vote biden has right now and might energize the black and women vote.
She might even get in some younger voters.
Just watch Trump avoid the September debate like the plague.

Not sure. as I said a few pages back, i'd probably go for Butigeig (sp?)
He's a very good communicator. Really good at campaigning and might make up for some of Harris's social shortcomings.

Isn't Harris bad candidate in general (from what i read)?
Being prosecutor that apparently everyone hated, California connection (that everyone hates).
Unpopular even in her own party.
Its not surprise those behind the scenes planning for someone else.

This is lining up to be Trump vs ANYONE ELSE, more so than even in 2020.

Anyone sane would go for Kamala in a heartbeat, but the concerns we discussed last week still exist.

Her running mate would be key. Would almost certainly need to be a white straight male from a rust belt or southern-ish state. Problem is I have no idea who that would be. Shapiro ticks a lot of those boxes, but he's too new to the national stage, I think his time would be 4 years from now. Whitmer doesn't tick the "male" box.

Andy Beshear might. But he's also too much of an unknown

The general narrative has to do with sexual positions, sexual orientation, and perceived sex-for-social-climbing with respect to both candidates. It debases the hard-earned impressive credentials of both individuals and reduces them both to crass racist or homophobic stereotypes. It is disgusting and gross, and only a POS racist, misogynist, homophobic clown like dylsexicblue would bring it up. In different circumstances he would be banned, but I understand the GOT moderator's position of not having to constantly step into this gladiatorial pit of craziness--they work for free, and they have stated, quite understandably, this is a loosely moderated forum given all the craziness in E-sector among other areas. Given this, in so far as he continues to make racist, homophobic, and misogynistic statements, I will call him out as the homophobe, racist, misogynist that he is.
