Well aside from the fact that it's VERY dubious whether picking either of them as his running mate would increase his chances of winning (it would polarise the electorate even more than it already is, and quite possibly scare away a lot of moderates/swing voters)... the more salient point is that neither of them is eligible to be the VP nominee.

Their tale says that he was anointed by all the free coverage during the primaries that assured him the nomination. Why? Because he was so beatable. He's just as beatable now as he was then. Polls say he's down five points today to a guy who can't find his car in a three level garage.

I think he was disagreeing with my assessment of Twitter and the Young Turks as sources rather than with the idea that Omar's been tagged as antisemitic by the right and by people who have a hard time differentiating criticism of the state of Israel from slurs against Jews in general.
