Interesting result from Sunderland Central.
Tories are doing well in the Brexit Leave seats.
The North-East specifically, we need a seat somewhere else before making any sort of conclusion. There's been suggestions that the Tories were doing well in the North-East, much more so than the rest of the country.

Woudnt it be the same outcome tho if there's a hung parliament tomorrow

My point is that if LDs opt out with their seats, that makes it more difficult for Tories or Labour to negotiate enough to get a majority in Parliament, particularly if LDs vote against any option. On the other hand, if they move their position to agreeing to abstain rather than oppose a particular candidate for PM, depending on the numbers someone might be able to secure a majority in Parliament to become PM (allowing for any such abstentions). However, in the absence of nailing down some sort of agreement with LDs, that would probably be a very unstable future for such a PM and Government.

Lots of people in Brussels won't be happy with this (assuming the poll is correct). No way that the negotiations can start on the 19th of June, and three days later there is the Brexit European summit. What a jolly mess. Wouldn't like to be Barnier atm
