Why isn't the possible wipeout of the Lib Dems a factor? Lost 60 odd seats in what, a decade. Would expect most of those voters to find a home with Labour.

Perhaps, but there is a lot of residual loyalty to them and a lot of those seats were in areas where they've traditionally been either the winner or runner-up, and Labour were a wasted vote. UKIP never won a seat (Carswell aside, and that was him winning rather than them winning) and were always a wasted vote, but did pile up millions of wasted votes nationwide. Now most of them seem to be going Tory and aren't going to be wasted, it seems.

Jesus Christ. Mate, I've read more of your posts than I care to mention. I know you hold conservative views. That's your call.

What winds me up is this shy/apologetic Tory mode. "Oh my hand just slipped on the Liam Fox box, I think he may have voted for a whole raft of awful things and have a bad reputation but hey...".

Just be a man and admit you're a Tory, I'd respect that a lot more.

Oh hello....

No overall majority (Cons) is seeing a little tickle of cash

Not major, but a little second or third fav move...

That ending was about as obvious as being 2-0 up with 20 minutes to go under Martinez.

You say you didn't vote for Theresa May - why did you choose the Conservatives? I don't believe it was an indiscriminate protest vote.

Would never vote UKIP under any circumstances, Lib Dems are pointless, Conservatives give Labour the biggest bloody nose, which was my intent.

You are right that a Tory protest vote doesn't make sense nationally, but it does locally.

Not only that, I have to re-iterate I didn't vote for May, but I certainly voted against Corbyn. On matters of the economy (where his sums for taxing business are idealistic nonsense - the tax receipts would shrink and there'd be a shortfall) and security (need I say more) I completely disagree with his approach and find him quite frankly dangerous.

I think that would be ideal from my totally selfish betting point of view and not any political bias.

There's a chance of it - a small one, but definitely a chance. Let's see if the youth vote followed through on their Twitter antics for a change.
