So you think Everton are in a good enough financial situation to sign a player for 3 million even though we won't see the results for a long while? This money should have gone towards players who would get us to the top 6 places this season.
Your point would be fair if it was £3mil we'd be spending (tonight). It's not - it's most likely a small up front fee of tops (and at a push) £0.5-1mil, with add ons.
