I'm fairly certain we won't have included such a buyout clause. From a business perspective it doesn't make any sense.

Although didn't we pay £15 million, not £18 million? Although given we will lose 15-25% in sell-on fees, we might as well have done.

I doubt it will be quite that high a sell on fee if at all. Sell on fee's generally happen when a relatively young player is sold for a small to medium size fee £15 mil ain't so small a fee to be commanding 25% sell on fee personally if there is one it would be max 10%.

But I've never heard of felliani having a sell on fee so I don't think he dose. Although this is all just my opinion and am fairly open to be proven wrong like.

But it wouldn't surprise me if more then 25% of the fellaini money anyway haha.

He doesnt have a release clause in FM tho lads. He does have a 15% Sell on fee to Liege tho.

Aren't sell on fees (if there is one) based on any profit made, not the whole transfer amount? So a release clause of 22m (if there is one) would give us a 7M profit, so Liege would get 15% of 7M which is about 1M

Think the 22M figure is incorrect. I'm sure when he signed contract the actual ITK's were saying there is a release clause of 27M.

In my realistic brain £30m sounds too much. £22m sounds too low. Not really sure what i'd be happy with.

I'd sell him for 25-30m, As long as we got all the money to spend, I do hope we sign someone soon though.

£27 would be great. What we could add with that money would could potentially far outweigh what Fellaini offers, so I kinda hope we do cash in in the summer.

After the sell on clause, money we pay the bank, i wonder if we would get much of that to spend.
